Queers for Palestine 38 vous invite à participer à un arpentage sur le lien entre identités queer et récits nationaux, et sur l’exploitation de ces identités à des fins coloniaux.

Rdv mardi 18 février à 18h au Lîeu, 17 rue Abbé Grégoire (arrêt de tram St Bruno).

Durée de l’atelier : entre 2h30 et 3h. Il est conseillé de ramener un truc à grignoter.

Un arpentage est une méthode de lecture collective qui consiste à se repartir la lecture de différents textes (ou parties d’un texte) et ensuite les résumer au reste du groupe. Ça permet à tout le monde de commencer à se familiariser avec un volume d’informations qui pourrait être décourageant au premier abord, et c’est aussi une bonne manière pour commencer à se faire une idée sur un sujet qu’on connaît peu.

Concrètement, on vous a préparé 5 ou 6 textes, dans différentes langues (majoritairement en français, mais aussi en anglais et en arabe) et différents niveaux de complexité, et on vous proposera de les lire et d’en discuter en petit comité pour ensuite partager vos réflexions en grand groupe.

Pendant cet arpentage, on a envie de discuter avec vous de l’assimilation des identités queer blanches au récit national, de la légitimation du génocide palestinien à travers le pinkwashing, de l’instrumentalisation de l’homo-transphobie dans les quartiers populaires, du rapport à la visibilité et à la modernité, de l’influence que les différents modes de production et d’organisation sociale exercent sur les identités queer, de solidarités queer internationalistes, …

Sont bienvenues toutes les personnes intéressées à discuter de ces questions, et en particulier celles qui sont traversées personnellement par les différentes problématiques énoncées.

سنتقابل يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ١٨ فبراير الساعة السادسة مساء في مكان اسمه

مدة الورشة ساعتين و نصف و ننصحكم بإحضار تصبيرة أو وجبة خفيفة.

الأربنتاج منهج تعليمي يستند علي القراءة الجماعية لنصوص مختلفة و بعدها تلخيصها لباقي المجموعة. هذا النظام يسمح للجميع معرفة سعة كبيرة من المعلومات أو قد تكون مقدمة لموضوع ما معقد نسبيا.

لقد حضرنا ٥-٦ نصوص مكتوبة بلغات مختلفة ( عربية أو إنجليزية أو فرنسية ) و بدرجات مختلفة من التعقيد. سنطلب منك قراءة النص و مناقشته مع مجموعة مصغرة من الحضور و بعدها تلخيصه و تبادل أفكارك مع المجموعة الكبيرة. سنتحدث خلال هذه الورشة عن دمج الهويات المثلية البيضاء مع الروايات القومية و كيف تستخدم هذه السياسات لإضفاء الشرعية للإبادة الجماعية في فلسطين. سنتحدث عن الغسيل الوردي للكيان الصهيوني استخدام الروياة القومية المثلية كأداة لقمع الأحياء الشعبية في فرنسا. سنتحدث كذلك عن طرق مختلفة للتعبير عن الجنسانية ، و علاقتها مع الحداثة

Workshop on homo-transnationalism

Queers for Palestine 38 invites you to take part in a "arpentage" about the link between queer identities and national narratives, and the exploitation of these identities for colonial purposes.

We’ll meet on Tuesday, February 18th at 6pm in a place called "Le Lîeu". Address : 17 rue Abbé Grégoire (St Bruno tramway stop).

Length of the workshop : between 2,5 and 3 hours. We suggest you to bring some snacking.

An “arpentage” is a collective reading method that consists in reading different texts (or parts of a text) and then summarizing them for the rest of the group. It allows everyone to become familiar with a volume of information that might be impressing at first, and it’s also a good way to start getting an idea about a subject you don’t know much about.

Basically, we’ve prepared 5 or 6 texts, in different languages (mostly French, but also English and Arabic) and at different levels of complexity, and we’ll ask you to read and discuss them in small groups, and then share your thoughts with the larger group.

During this workshop, we’d like to discuss with you about the assimilation of white queer identities into national narratives, the legitimization of the Palestinian genocide through pinkwashing, the instrumentalization of homo-transphobia in popular neighborhoods, different approaches to queer visibility and modernity, the influence that different modes of production and different forms of societal organization can have on the development of queer identities, and queer internationalist solidarities...

All people who’re interested in discussing about these topics are welcome, and especially people who’re personally concerned by those issues.
